About Us
Brave Stance is a dedicated non-profit organization created to support veterans facing life challenges, including mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and more. Our mission is to provide holistic support and encouragement to help veterans regain control of their lives and achieve their full potential. Through comprehensive programs and a strong community network, we strive to make a significant positive impact on the lives of veterans.
Founders
Rasmey Enn is a former Marine and Army Drill Sergeant who served from 1996 to 2016. With a distinguished career spanning two decades, Rasmey served in various roles including Platoon Sergeant and Drill Sergeant Leader, training thousands of soldiers and fellow Drill Sergeants. He has multiple deployments under his belt and has been honored with Meritorious Service, Achievement Medal, and Commendation. As a disabled veteran, Rasmey has battled severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He founded Brave Stance with the goal of helping other veterans navigate similar challenges, transition smoothly to civilian life, and find comprehensive support and encouragement to thrive.
First Sergeant Edwin A. Vasquezgaitan is a retired Marine with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. He served in various roles, including Marksmanship Instructor, Weapons Platoon Sergeant, and Company First Sergeant, with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Edwin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security Emergency Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with Human Resources. As a disabled veteran, Edwin has battled PTSD, depression, severe anxiety, and nightmares. His extensive military experience and commitment to supporting fellow veterans make him a vital part of Brave Stance.
